I finished Economics a couple of weeks ago and finished FSA this weekend. Last year, these sections were my strongest (I got >70% for both). So this year I will be aiming for the same.
There are less than four weeks until the mock exam, and only 6 weeks until the main exam. I have stepped up my study a lot now. I feel like I have a good chance of passing even though I have not had as much preparation time as last year. I have learnt from my mistakes will finish strong.
How are your studies going? Have you almost finished the material? Go hard for this last month!
41 days until the level 2 exam.

Hi! Sorry I dunno any other way to contact you. It is quite inspiring that you share your experience taking the CFA exams. I'm a level 2 candidate in June 2010 myself. However, I am lagging way behind and I'm freaking out. Do you happen to have any personal notes, summaries or formula sheets that could help organize the knowledge for level 2? In my experience, I happen to be good at studying those. I have looked all over the internet but no luck yet. If you have those, please kindly share them with me, those would be invaluable to me. My email is bui.dphuong@gmail.com. Thanks so much and wish you all the best!
Hi,
Good luck with your Level II preparations this month. I have mixed feelings about my progress but will keep on studying. Just now starting with quants but I have covered most of the other study sessions. I'll do Ethics last since it is very qualitive. Always have a big coffee or a Red bull nearby.
ciao
i Have finished the course twice.....But i seem to froget everythng when i sit for a practice exam. Pls help!
Hi!
I just found your blog about the CFA exam ! Seems that you are preparing for the CFA level 2. GOOD LUCK !
Actually I am preparing for the first level of CFA! I plan to do the mock exam in coming weekend and do not know how to grade myself. Could you please let me know how many questions i need to do correctly (out of 240) to pass the mock exam?
Thanks in advance,
Niloufar
Hi Oliver....stumbled on your blog and its eerily similar to what im going through....wrote level 1 in 2008 and aced it but failed level 2 in June 09. I'm writing level 2 again next month, and although i've put in close to 300 hours, i'm still freaking out that i won't remember all i need to during the actual exam. Anyway, its good to know other people are going through similar things...all the best in June and keep us posted.
Cheers,

This is Adil Khan, I have just enrolled for CFA Level 1 and have to take the exam in Dec 2010. Please tell me If I have got enough time to prepare? I explicitly request Level 1 clearers to help and provide guidance for level 1 preparation.
